About Us
I have been building and renovating homes since 1992. After five years building locally in Whangamata, I spent a further five years in England where I combined my time experiencing new building techniques and travelling the world before settling back in Whangamata. In 2000 I married Bronwyn, a local school teacher. We have two boys, Sam and Otis.
In 2005 I decided to start my own building company and named it Beach House Builders Ltd. I have an excellent team that have been working together for a number of years.

I recently completed the Homestar Practitioner course through the New Zealand Green Build Council. This enables me to advise on the design and undertaking of building projects aiming for a Homestar Rating. Homestar is an independent tool that rates the sustainability and energy efficiency of New Zealand homes on a scale from 6 - 10.
